spring time pain

Sports corner
The season is creeping in. Tennis, baseball and golf. All three of these sports have their special brand of injuries. Tennis: elbow, shoulder, and knees. Baseball: elbow, shoulder and back. Golf: shoulder, hips, back and elbow. We all have processes that we go through when doing things. Make sure you add stretching, strengthening and massage to your weekly protocol to limit your risk of injury.

Medical bodywork(massage)
Medical massage is a purpose driven type. You systematically breakdown what the problem is and with some “elbow ;)” grease and few sessions the problem is resolved. The only thing about it is that it only works in conjunction with other therapeutic modalities such as physical therapy and/or chiropractic. If you neglect the other modalities the massage will only be a temporary fix.
